1. Would you as a sponsor continue to give money to Michael Phelps? I would, almost everyone want's to try smoking marijuana at least once.
2. Would you as a business owner still pay Phelps money to Market your products? Yes I would.
3. Post your thoughts about the situation. I honestly see that there is a problem with Michael Phelps smoking marijuana because he can hurt his swimming career, but on the other hand if he wants to smoke that stuff then he can. But If I were in his shoes I wouldn't because his swimming career is going to be over soon.

I agree i for one woludnt smoke it but we are entirely different people. He's 23 let him have fun.
ReplyDeletei dont think is swimming career is going anywhere. He will be just fine, i dont think that any companies are going to go to the extreme and stop sponsoring him just get, but who knows. I just dont see a problem with it. i mean yes smoking pot is bad for you. I don't do it. Everyone has tried it though, im sure more than once in there life ! people just need to let it go.
ReplyDeleteIf he were to keep smoking, it would definitley hurt his image especially since he his such a huge role model in today's society. It would also hurt the company's sponsoring him if he were to keep smoking because many parents wouldn't buy those products for the kids. Hopefully he was sincere about his apology and it truely won't happen again becuase I would want to see him go on to earn more medals. :)
