1. Is this enough to boost tourism to Hilton Head? I honestly think that if Hilton Head sends an ad campaign out to attract people from Atlanta and Charlotte that they will drive down to see the island since they will have deals on the hotels and the restuarants.
2. Is it wise to target consumers who are in driving distance? I don't think that it is since the gas prices are expensive and the long drive from one state to another takes up a lot of gas.
3. Is this slogan enough to catch your attention as a tourist? Not for me. I don't want to drive from Lexington to Hilton Head and waste a lot of money only on gas.
4. Create your own ad slogan for Hilton Head that you feel would gain attention and bring visitors to the Hilton Head area. Hilton Head come and visit the most coolest place to visit. We have a lot of restuarants, the beach is nice, and you can have a lot of fun down here to visit the shopping malls.

Well, the gas prices are that bad now, but they used too. Maybe more people will go their because the prices aren't that high now. So, that Hilton Head can get more business.

ReplyDeleteGas prices do affect how much people travel, and that can be a huge factor in Hilton Head not seeing very much business. Luckily, gas prices have gone down alot!
ReplyDeletegas isn't expensive now and even if they did go back up it would be cheaper then paying for the cost of flying... :D
ReplyDeletei think they really need to advertise more places than just atlanta and charolette and gas prices have gone down a bit so that might help in getting those tourists.
